EARNEST PRAYER
(1) INTRODUCTIONJames 5 is telling believers to pray “Earnestly or unceasingly”. Thus, there are many theologies building on this. It sounds like so long as believers pray unceasingly, earnestly, they shall guarantee blessed in whatsoever they pray for. Let’s consider the verses below:- James 5:13-17 NIV13 Is anyone among you in trouble? Let them pray.… Continue reading

CAST YOUR NET ON THE RIGHT SIDE
There is a beautiful story on miraculous catches of fish in John 21:2-11. (A) BACKGROUND IN JOHN CHAPTER 20Perhaps, it is good to look at the background of the story a chapter prior to the miraculous catches of fish; in chapter 20, before drawing a conclusion. Because of space, I shall not attach any… Continue reading

1 JOHN 1:9
There is a great discussion on if 1 John 1:9 was written for believers. The modern-day teaching is saying that this message is not written for believers. Let’s look at the context verse by verse, for further discussion. Before that, let’s review 1 John 1:6-10 first. (1) SCRIPTURE REFERENCE 1 John 1:6-10 (NIV) 6 If… Continue reading

MELCHIZEDEK, GRACE, TRUTH, AND LAW
Back to Main Page MELCHIZEDEK, GRACE, TRUTH AND LAW Personally, I believe “Grace” is a person. Grace is the Holy Spirit. Not Jesus, as most people advocate. Of course, it can be used interchangeably, since they are God of three in one. But, specifically, it is referring to the Holy Spirit. There are many names… Continue reading

RIGHTLY DIVIDE HIS WORD (1)
Back to Main Page (1) INTRODUCTION Based on Luke 4:19, there is a teaching that says we have to “Rightly divide His word”. This school of thought is saying that in Luke 4:19 when Jesus quoted the Book of Isaiah 61:2, he closed the Book, and excluded the second part of Isaiah 61:2 which read… Continue reading

BALAAM
Back to Main Page In the New Testament, both Apostle Peter and Jesus mention the way of Balaam. The question is what went wrong with Balaam? Before looking at the New Testament, it might be good to study Balaam’s way in the Old. Firstly, it was obvious that God forbade any treaty between the Ammonites… Continue reading

END TIMES:- THE BOOK OF LIFE OPENS
There is much teaching and sharing on End-Times. As a matter of fact, some bible scholars are saying that believers will not be subjected to the Great White Judgment Seat. Their belief is that Christians have already been granted Eternal Life by Christ. Their sins have been justified. They strongly believe in the justification of… Continue reading

FRUITFUL AND MULTIPLY
Frankly, this is an alarming wake-up message for me. I used to hear that: “(Galatians 3:29) 29 If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise (NIV).” Coupled with this verse, I was being taught: “For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in… Continue reading
About Me
In many instances, the bible’s truth is distorted by cutting, pasting, connecting, and paraphrasing into many meanings. On the other hand, some create a theology based on a singular verse or half a verse. With that, the whole bible is being re-produced into thousands upon thousands of different versions. And there are more than hundreds of different beliefs, theologies, and denominations been developed over the years.
Thus, Amenbible is inspired and determined to read and understand the bible book by book, chapter by chapter, and verse by verse in drawing the truth of His word.
Need not mention, the aim is to keep the purity of the interpretation of the scripture.
And the desire is to know the doctrine than follow any theology.
